 Belonging to the Silla period from BC to 900AD are 35 royal tombs and 155 tumuli (earthen mounds) in central Gyeongju, and 421 tumuli in the outskirts of the city. In Daereungwon Park is the tomb of Cheonmachong, shown here. It is one of the few open to the public. |
