Continuing south past the mountains and glaciers of the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula (Trinity Peninsula) on our port side, we reach Trinity Island - just 24 km by 10 km - and you can see it is not far from the mainland which is the background of the above photo.
Trinity island is part of the Palmer Archipelago which runs to the west of and parallel to the Antarctic Peninsula.
