A beautiful 4km long avenue of metasequoia trees (glyptostroboides) is just 10 minutes drive along National Road No. 15 from the Bamboo Museum in Damyang.

They were planted in the early 1970s when the Ministry of Internal Affairs officially designated the road as a “boulevard.”  In 2002 the Korea Forest Service selected the boulevard as one of the most beautiful roads in Korea.
