 Belonging to the Silla period from BC to 900AD are 35 royal tombs and 155 tumuli (earthen mounds) in central Gyeongju, and 421 tumuli in the outskirts of the city. Above is an artefact in the tomb of Cheonmachong, one of the few open to the public. |
